I’m Alexus, the heart behind Maka Studios. My journey began in Houston, where I spent four years photographing events and galas before shifting my focus to family and wedding storytelling. With an associate’s degree in film from Austin Community College and a background in fast-paced event photography, I bring a cinematic eye and a steady hand to every project.

Over the past year, I’ve fallen in love with wedding videography, capturing love stories that feel timeless and full of emotion. Alongside films, I also specialize in maternity photography and offer engagement sessions, with a studio space in Round Rock where I’ve had the joy of photographing many beautiful mamas. Now based in the Austin area, I’m continuing to grow, learn, and build meaningful connections while helping couples and families preserve their most important moments.
